Resumen

El deporte moderno ha inventado los dioses del estadio. Sus nombres se acumulan llenando por completo nuestra vida cotidiana. Todas esas estrellas, todos esos campeones, son a veces propiedad colectiva de un pueblo que se identifica con ellos.

Abstract

The significance or at least ubiquitousness of sport in the twentieth century is almost burdensomely obvious. Sports education, sports equipment, sports architecture, sports journalism and sports theater are large enterprises in every modern nation.
